“Tax info for U.S. Citizens
Living and Working Abroad”

with all the details…
If you’re a U.S. citizen living and working abroad, you need to think about taxes, both…
- Those taxes in the United States
- And those in the foreign country where you’re living
That’s why I wrote my new article. I wanted to make everything clear and without making it taxing.
As a U.S citizen you can take advantage of
three possible income tax breaks:
- The foreign earned income exclusion. It allows you to exclude up to $120,000 of your foreign income from federal income taxes.
- The housing exclusion (or deduction) allows you to exclude or deduct up to a ceiling amount of certain foreign housing costs.
- The foreign tax credit lets you reduce your taxes by the taxes you paid in the non-U.S. country where you reside.
Let’s face it. This subject is complex and you need a guide who can make everything clear. That’s where the Tax Reduction Letter comes in.
In my new article I’ll cover important subjects like these:
The two residency tests.
- A guide to taking moneysaving exclusions
- An in-depth look at the foreign tax credit
- Reporting foreign financial accounts
- The impact of tax treaties
- And much more
Want to find out more about how to play the game? Easy…
