Here’s important information you should know if you want to increase your retirement savings (and who doesn’t?)…
You or your spouse can use the spousal IRA to make contributions to a traditional, non-deductible, or Roth IRA.
This is true whether one or both spouses work!
Two facts you should know:
- Things get a bit complicated if you or your spouse participate in a tax-favored retirement plan via a job or through self-employment.
