How to throw a party and get a 100% deduction

February 19, 2015

Allow me to rewrite the lyrics of a famous song in order to help you cut your tax bill…

The party’s over,
It’s time to call it a day
And if you’re up on the law,
Deduct all expenses away.

That’s right. Thanks to Uncle Sam, you can deduct 100% of the cost of your company parties if you follow a few simple rules.

The bottom line? Before you crank up the music and the drinks start to flow, take a minute and read my new article titled Tax Tips: Make Your Company Party More Fun: Find Thousands More in Legal Tax Deductions!

Three ways our fact-filled article can help you:

  1. You’ll learn why you should never say that your party expenses were for “entertainment.” The fact is, entertainment expenses usually qualify for just a 50% deduction. But if your parties are employee parties, you can claim a 100% deduction! You’ll get all the good news when you read the full article.
  2. We’ll tell you who you can invite to your parties. The IRS grants you the full 100% deduction when you throw parties primarily for the benefit of your “non-tainted employees.” Who are these folks? You’ll find out when you read the full article.
  3. We’ll explain how to keep records that stand up to IRS scrutiny. There are five key items you have to keep track of. This is easy to do as we’ll explain when you read the full article.
