If you live in a house and make mortgage payments, but someone else owns the property, can you still get a tax break?

The answer is “yes!”

You see, if you know how to handle things the right way, you can deduct up to 100% of the mortgage interest you pay… even if someone else’s name is on the deed and mortgage documents.

Want to find out more? Easy. Read my new article titled Tax Tips: How to Deduct Mortgage Interest When You Need Someone Else’s Name on the Deed?

Three ways our fact-filled article can help you:

  1. We’ll tell you when claiming “legal title” makes sense. If you can get legal title without causing complications, it’s the simplest, cleanest way to go. You’ll learn why when you read the full article.
  2. We’ll explain why claiming “equitable ownership” may be a smart move. Equitable ownership lets you qualify for the mortgage-interest deductions under certain conditions. We’ll tell you what they are when you read the full article.
